Our experience in the hospitality industry

Let me introduce myself, my name is Francesca.

DolceVita Ambiez Rooms&Breakfast is born of a dream: a dream to offer those staying in San Lorenzo Dorsino an entirely new type of hospitality, both more homely and more in tune with nature.

This passion for hospitality is part of my family’s past, dating all the way back to the 1970’s when my father first moved to Switzerland and then to Milan to learn the trade. Once back home, he continued this experience alongside my mother here in Trentino. For a good 31 years, he has been behind the counter at the Ambiez bar/tobacconists in the hamlet of Dorsino. Between 1995 and 2003, my parents also ran the Soran hotel in San Lorenzo, Banale.

Now it's my turn to continue the tradition: with the help and support of my parents, I have restored and renovated a building in the historic centre of Dorsino. The older residents still remember when Ciuìga (the salami typical of this area, made with pork and cooked turnip) was smoked here.

From my parents I have learnt that small gestures are particularly important when it comes to taking care of others: breakfast served in the morning with a smile, meticulous care to cleanliness, a willingness to listen to your guests’ needs.
